Project Tracking

Organize quotes by project and see all your team's quotes for each opportunity in one place.

Project tracking helps you organize quotes by job, tender, or opportunity. Link quotes to projects and see all your team’s quotes for the same deal in one place. This is a Pro tier feature.

What Is a Project?

A project represents a specific opportunity, job, or tender. Examples:

  • “Johnson Warehouse HVAC Upgrade”
  • “City Hall Electrical Retrofit”
  • “ABC Manufacturing New Build”

Linking quotes to projects gives your team visibility into what’s been quoted for each opportunity.

Creating Projects

  1. Go to Projects in the sidebar
  2. Click New Project
  3. Enter project details:
    • Name: A descriptive title
    • Customer: Who’s requesting quotes
  4. Click Save

Linking Quotes to Projects

When creating or editing a quote:

  1. Look for the Project field
  2. Search for an existing project or create a new one
  3. The quote is now linked

The Project Dashboard

When you open a project, you see:

Quote Summary

  • All quotes linked to this project from your organization
  • Status of each quote
  • Total value of your quotes

Team Visibility

See what your team has quoted for this opportunity:

  • Which team members have created quotes
  • The status and value of each quote

Note: Projects show your organization’s own quotes. Each team member can see all quotes linked to the project, giving everyone visibility into the deal.

Merging Projects

If duplicate projects are created (common when multiple reps quote the same opportunity), Owner and Admin can merge them — combining all linked quotes into a single project.

Tips for Project Success

  • Create projects early — Even before you start quoting
  • Use descriptive names — Include customer and location for easy identification
  • Link all related quotes — Revisions and alternatives
  • Update status promptly — Keep your pipeline accurate
